Canon paper works very effectively in my Canon printer. It gives me superior results compared to other photo papers I have tried in my printer. The area that particularly shines is the skin tones. They come through in realistic tones. I also observed no fading in color, even in the photo displayed in the room (vs the one stored in albums) over several years I have used the paper.

I print and frame photos for myself and family, so this works great. you have to frame it almost right away, because it is thin and will bend easy. Also have to be careful loading it into the printer to not crease it. However 100 sheets for this price, you cant bitch. Photos come out great, like thicker paper Ive used before, just handle with care.

I got these speakers for my husband as a Christmas gift. He travels and I thought these would be nice and compact to use with his iPhone on trips. I specifically ordered this set because it uses the earphone jack. (We both have protective cases on our iPhones and most speaker systems that are built to use the interface on the bottom of the phone will not allow the phone to make a proper connection if you have a cover on.)

Now my husband has left his speakers on the kitchen table and I have plugged my iPhone into them....the sound is FANTASTIC. Very clear and pure, nice depth to the sound and no buzzing. Much better than other speakers we have purchased elsewhere.
I guess I will not steal his after all, I am just going to use the one-click at the top of the page to get my own set.

Overall the product works as specified, and I can second most of the previous reviews. Sound quality is surprisingly decent for their tiny size. Versatility (generic jack, battery or wall power) is a big plus.

The only major problem is a constant buzzing noise they emit when plugged in. This is NOT a GSM sound - they really are shielded; it is a constant irritating humming. It's quiet, so when the music is playing you don't hear it; but when there is no sound, this buzzing is driving me nuts. So far I didn't figure out how to fix it, and if I find it impossible, I'll send them back for refund.

UPD. It looks like the buzzing only happens when the speakers are plugged into wall outlet. I switched to batteries and everything works OK. Not sure if it means defective power supply.

I bought these speakers for my ipod to go on vacation. The sound was great from these little speakers!...you would would think these were much larger speakers if you weren't looking at them. Because you can separate the speakers you get a truly stereo affect.

I didn't mind the wires because where I was staying only had a small end table and I could arrange the ipod and speakers to fit on the end table where I wouldn't be able to if it was one bigger unit, and as I stated before you can really separate the speakers.

It traveled well. The speaker couple into the main unit to protect everything. I just placed the whole thing with the wires into a small travel bag.

I was told that they could not send just the laynard; they sent me another case. When this arrived, it too had no laynard. I just sent it back. I believe that if the product should include the parts that are noted in the description of the product. VERY misleading and a waste of time.

I bought a white case for my new iphone 3GS and a pink one for my daughter's iphone 3G. The design is nice, it isn't bulky or heavy, they look nice and the phones fit nicely. So far it seems the case does a great job of protecting the phones from damage if dropped and especially from screen scratches while they flop around inside our handbags. However there are a couple of design problems. The first is that the frame around the touchscreen sometimes makes it hard to press the keys on the keypad near the edges. This can also affect game play. Second, when you flip the top up, you have to hold it out of the way to take a photo or the cover will fold back and obscure the lens. Last, the durability is an issue. After just one month, both of our cases are starting to split on the inside where the cover folds up. There is a tendency to bend it back out of the way when using the phone, and this makes it even more vulnerable to splitting there. I can see us both having to replace the covers within the next 2 months. So if you don't mind paying $20 every 2-3 months for a new cover, and can deal with the other issues, it is a nice protective case.

Great Product. Fits my Ipod 3rd generation perfectly, no movements. It also has the appropriate holes for the volume, charger, light sensor, and earphones. There is no belt clip, which is what i wanted. There is a velcro strap if you want to clip it to your belt. But if you're like me and just want it in ur pocket, then this works great. Not to bulky!

I am in emergency communications, live in Florida, and I know price/performance when I see it. Right after giving this radio a shake-down cruise that would be expected of any good transistor radio -- I did one thing -- I bought more of them for my ham radio friends.

The light is an LED, so worries about it burning out are out the window. No one knows the lifespan of an LED, because they have only been in general use since the 1970s!

Whoever designed this really thought it out. I would tend to write off the one-star reviews and hesitate not. Especially for the price -- this emergency radio has no equal for the price as of November, 2004.

This is an interesting product from Grundig. It is a wind up radio with a small flashlight included for emergencies. It also has the shortwave bands you need for the BIG broadcasts such as BBC, Voice of America, and Radio Canada. I was also able to receive Radio Netherlands. The trick is to listen at night - at 7 PM and after - as that is when shortwave comes in best. You won't want to use the crank every day as you want to save that for true emergencies. Install three AA batteries for daily use. Daily use? Yes. I was surprised at the very good AM and FM reception. Even in my concrete and steel office I was able to get stations that usually come in weakly on other radios. This is a neat little radio and I am going to get another one for my emergency pack (I live in Florida where we are subject to hurricanes but with the world in the state it is in, my pack now may have several uses). Buy this for emergencies but don't be surprised if you use it every day. I didn't give it five stars because I think they could have built it a bit sturdier for 40$.

I bought this little radio as an emergency and camping radio a couple of months ago and let it sit. It is now the a couple of minutes to the Saddam's deadline (20h00EST 19 Mar 03) and I am listening to the BBC news. The state of current events inspired me get it out and put it through its paces with the results being pleasantly surprising. I picked up Madrid and BBC World Service on the short wave among other stations (lots of Spanish broadcasts). In fact, the amount of stations picked up in the 5800-6200Mhz range and recption is pretty good. While the performance isn't the same as my Satellit 400, the sound is pretty good. The reception is excellent on the FM band as well.

I like this radio's reception and perfomrance better than the Coleman generator radio. Also, the size is much more convenient than the Coleman radio.

I wish it were easier to find the AC adapter.

I read this book awhile ago, and loved it. Being an animal lover, I appreciated the care with which the author described the horses, and how much personality they had; they were an actual part of the story, rather than just beasts of burden (this is true to one extent or another of all her writing). I also appreciated the fact that while she included a romance, sex wasn't particularly present. I get tired of some fantasy authors who seem to think that if they throw enough sex in, it compensates for lacks such as plot, character development, or action; also authors that just plain write it in all the time. Finally, she had a somewhat original and creative idea; others have written about animals becoming people or vice versa, but none that I've ever read had as much realism in that description, or as much consideration of what that would actually mean for the individual involved (especially if it is an animal becoming human). All in all, I loved this book and would highly recommend it.

I don't think I have ever read a story like this one before--a rare thing in these days of multi volume fantasy series. Dun Lady's Jess is a simple story about a courier's horse. Jess and her rider are on a mission when they are attacked and accidentally transported to our world. Due to the nature of the spell used against them, Jess is turned into a woman while her rider is seperated from her and disorientated.

Jess is found naked and alone by a couple out for the day. They rescue her, take her home, and finally realise they hve something very strange on their hands. Jess meanwhile is having trouble understanding that standing on her hind legs is now allowed (rearing is bad) and that she can talk just like her rider.

All in all, a simple but intensely interesting read. Well worth your moneyu and time.

In my view, HP should have pulled all of these from the shelves long ago. Instead they continue to push this piece of junk on the consumer. Do NOT, I repeat NOT be sucked in by any special offer or low price on this. I spent over 2-1/2 hours learning what you should know: HP couldn't get the software right on this thing so they put it out WITH THE BAD SOFTWARE ANYWAY. Your camera will not work and HP will not or cannot fix it, your only recourse will be to return the camera. Save yourself the exasperation and the waste of time and buy something else. As I said in the short version, this shows a complete disrespect toward the consumer by HP. They suck.

Aaron's first ever book is an impressive start. Any good fantasy novel has a rich history before the story even starts and it's the reader's pleasure to start to learn that history as the story unfolds. And a good fantasy author gives the reader only bits and pieces at a time, leaving them wanting for more. Aaron does a nice job of that with The Hand of Andulain. He's created a land that is complex and characters that, while not quite at the depth of a Robert Jordan epic fantasy, are still detailed enough to catch your interest.

The Hand of Andulain Review by Michael D. Ramm

The Hand of Andulain is the debut novel from Aaron Mahnke, who is, by trade, a graphic artist and designer. He was introduced to me in mid-2010 by our mutual friend, Patrick Rhone, for his long form writing at his blog. Over the last month or so, we have struck up a friendship through our love of fantasy fiction. I have been a huge fan of his blog for sometime and was very excited when he announced that he was releasing The Hand of Andulain in the Kindle store. I think that I may have been the first sale that Aaron made as I woke up on the Saturday morning it was supposed to be available, and I bought it before I even got out of bed.

The Hand of Andulain tells a very rich story that takes place in an ancient land. It details the journey of an unwitting adventurer and his best friend as they embark across their land to find the story behind a mysterious piece of jewelry that has come into their possession. We also learn how the prince of a neighboring kingdom gets involved to help the friends on their journey, while trying to wrestle control of his father, the King, and their Kingdom away from a growing evil that is takign over the land.

Bran and his best friend, Callidus, live in the small town of Landermal, where their families are farmers by trade. They were coming home from hunting one day when someone comes running out the forest in front of them. It is clear that this person is being chased and he is running for his life. Suddenly, a pack of hideous creatures break through the forest and resume their chase of the man. Bran and Cal take up their bows in an effort to protect the stranger as he begged for help. Suddenly the stranger falls with an arrow in his back and just as Bran is about to attack the three creatures, they disappear. With his dying breaths, the stranger gives the boy the pouch that he is carrying, which he is trying to protect, and tells him not to let it fall into the enemy. Thus begins the journey that Bran and Cal must undertake to find the meaning and origins of the mysterious contents of the pouch.

Mahnke has developed a rich world for the friends to travel in. There seems to be two main races of beings, Men and Eki. The mysterious stranger turns out to be a member of the Eki royal house. Eki seem to be almost elf-like in their descriptions. Mahnke describes them as cat-like with movements that were "graceful and fluid". We find out that seem to be immortal as well. The world is filled with small towns and large cities and treacherous mountainous regions and protective waystops, which were "small, concealed holes that were built and maintained by the Eki". I had no problem visualizing the terrain that he would describe as the party crisscrossed the land.

Mahnke does a great job by not inundating us with a lot of characters to keep up with throughout the story. There are two story arcs that are running concurrently. There is Bran and Cal, along with Bran's tutor, Auctoris, traveling at the direction of Auctoris and his limited knowledge on what he thinks is in the pouch. Then there is Prince Malach, who is framed for a crime that he did not commit and escapes his own father's army and searches out his best friend, Elos, who himself is an Eki. Then there are a couple of people in the enemies camp to watch (but I won't discuss them so that I don't spoil the story). At most there is probably seven main characters to keep up with and three or four minor characters that aid in the party's adventure.

The story starts off a little slow as Mahnke builds the world and introduces the characters to us. This is the first book in a proposed trilogy titled The Tapestry Saga (and I happen to know that some prequel type material is in the works as well!). Setting the stage for an epic fantasy of this caliber is very important, and Mahnke does a great job at it. He smatters in some history of the world, as well as how each of the main players relates in the big picture. Not since the late 80s with Star Wars have I been so interested in knowing the history of the work that I was reading.

J.R.R. Tolkien is an obvious influence in Mahnke's writing. That is ok for me since Tolkien is my all-time favorite writer. I did see a number of similarities to The Lord of the Rings, but it did not bother me. (Unlike when I attempted to read Eye of the World when I was in my late teens...I could not finish it, and I have not read any of the Wheel of Time books since.) I could probably compare each of Mahnke's characters with a character in Lord of the Rings and be pretty close about it. Again, there is just enough of a difference with The Hand of Andulain that I do not mind the comparisons.

The magic system, or the Art as it is called, is not very fleshed out in book 1. The magic is my favorite part of reading fantasy novels, and I was a little disappointed by not knowing more about the Art. Hopefully, book 2 will provide more background to the Art than was mentioned in The Hand of Andulain. It is very powerful both offensively and defensively. It seems people have different levels of ability to use the Art, and I am not sure if everyone can access its abilities or it is a select few. Again, hopefully it will be spelled out in book 2.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed The Hand of Andulain, especially as a debut work. I have enjoyed Aaron's non-fantasy fiction writing for awhile, and I am glad that his talent extends into yet another genre that I enjoy. I am very excited at the prequel material and to see what adventures lie ahead in books 2 and 3. The Hand of Andulain is available in the Kindle store. I bought this for my mom. She's gotten her first ipad (#2, 32gb) and is worried about protecting it. I thought this looked nice, but it is poorly sized and doesn't do the job.

Pros: - Nice material. Looks good. Better quality than I would have expected for a Chinese-made product. Stitching is good and some nice design features like velcro flap to keep the ipad in. The slide in flap looks nice and keeps case securely closed.

Cons - Doesn't fit right. The 'picture frame' around the screen doesn't lay flat. It looks cheap and sloppy. Interferes with and lifts the static screen. The corners of the ipad are open and unprotected. (Yes, that is in the pictures, but you don't realize just how exposed your ipad corners are until it is in the case.) The slide in flap that looks so nice on the outside is in the way when the case is open. If you tuck it in behind the ipad, it just emphasizes the poor fit.

Maybe this fits better with a smaller ipad - I don't know because I don't have one to compare. I will be returning this for one that (hopefully) fits better.

I am a product manager at Gilsson Technologies. I was asked to write this review based on my involvement in the design, prototyping, production and quality control processes. We started with a goal of designing a series of versatile, protective, elegant/stylish and durable iPad 2 cases. We started by surveying iPad 2 users on features you would like and how we, as daily users of iPad would find helpful. We have scratched at least 7 prior versions of the cases, further improving the style, feel, durability, versatility and protective aspects of the cases. After 2 month of designing, prototyping, refining and testing, we finally released 5 versions of the Gilsson iPad 2 cases in black, red, pink, light green and light orange colors.

In this Gilsson iPad 2 Combination Adjustable iPad Stand and Case, we wish to give the professionals on the go, to have a stylish and protective iPad 2 case that doubles as a stand for presentations, watching videos and working on the go.

- Gilsson case features the WRAP AROUND PROTECTION around the iPad 2:

An unprotective naked iPad 2 is very hard to hold and very vulnerable to dropping, scratching, working and watching videos/presentations. Hence, we surveyed the existing iPad 2 cases in the market with elastic bands or hard shell clips holding the iPad and noticed MANY BRANDS left the iPad 2 UNPROTECTED at the borders. If someone were to drop the iPad 2, it would be likely for one of its corners or sides to hit the hard surface. How do we protected then ? We decided to "frame" the iPad 2 in our PU leather material, a few millimeters AWAY from the perimeters, creating a buffer zone and additional cushion around the iPad 2 to absorb shocks from accidental drops. The use of the wrap around frame substantially increased our material cost, as we had to cut away large chucks of the material for framing the iPad screen. However, protection is our #1 goal and we did not feel comfortable with the use of elastic bands nor the hard clips as in other brands of iPad 2 cases.

- Custom cut-outs for all iPad 2 buttons, receptacles and rear camera:

We have created a custom frame with cut-outs for all the iPad 2 rear camera, buttons, volume control, on/off switch, speakers, power receptacles and ambient light sensor. One would be surprised by how many of our competitors' cases are blocking buttons, sensors and camera.

- High Quality Stylish Materials and Memory Foam Padding. It looks and feels like an expensive iPad 2 case.

As a part of our market research, we noticed many competitors using relatively cheap and thin plastic material on the case, giving a "budget" look. Hence, we searched all raw material suppliers and found some high quality PU Leather (imitation leather but it looks, feels and smells like real leather) and stylish anti-skid and dust free material for the interior. We were very pleased with the result, as the appearance is very stylish and yet protective, without costing a bundle for real leather material. Most of our beta testers had mistaken our PU leather to be real leather, as it looks and feels so great and luxurious. In addition to the high end PU leather, we also added memory foam to further protect the iPad 2.

- Versatility and Practical (by using expensive anti-skid and dust-free material and built-in ridges for optimal viewing angel):

This Gilsson Adjustable Stand / Case allows the user to place the iPad 2 at various angles (at least 6 different angles), to type, watch video and give presentations, at optimum positions, by incorporating am expensive high quality anti-skid and dust-free material. One can stand up the iPad 2 in the vertical orientation, laying down nearly flat, 4 ridge positions and the various angles on the anti-skid material. The result is phenomenal, creating a case that looks great and yet versatile and practical for every day use by mobile professionals.

I bought this for my iPad2 to protect it while traveling. It fits fine but looks cheap and not well made. When it arrived, the corner was bent and squished but I was leaving for a trip and had to use it anyway. It's ok if you don't mind the poor quality but it did protect my iPad in my carry-on. The tab that holds the iPad in (velcro) doesn't stay closed. Just don't expect to be wow'd.

Samsung Charge is a big phone compared to other 4G phones out there so I didn't want to add a lot of bulk to the existing phone. I'm also not a fan of most silicone-only cases because they make it hard to slide into a pocket, it feels flimsy, they tend to look cheap IMO... plus they are a magnet for lint, dog hair and other debris that comes its way. This Commuter series case from Otterbox takes care of those issues with a great design.

It's two pieces - a snug fitting silicone inner cover (that wraps up and around the lower buttons - giving them some extra protection)... and then, this is where Otterbox did it right -- they wrap the back and sides with a hard plastic that gives it a professional look, some added rigidity, and a smoother surface over most of the phone - so you can slide it into a pocket without a lot of fuss.

The fit is awesome -- no alignment issues with buttons/plugs/speakers/camera lenses etc. The other great detail is the silicone flaps that cover the headphone and charging jacks. They are simple to get to and keep the fuzz out of your holes (thats important stuff). Here's another added benefit -- I found the Samsung Charge's power button is pretty sensitive and super easy to hit when grabbing the phone. The silicone button covers increase the force needed to hit this button -- in a perfect way. I find i'm less likely to power the phone on and off inadvertently. Very pleased with that aspect.

In addition to the two piece case, Otterbox includes a nice quality screen protector that covers the entire screen area (others I bought from Verizon only covered the viewing screen but left the glossy upper areas exposed). They also include a mini squeegee card and micro fiber square so you have all the tools to get the protector on right. Simple but nice touch.

Overall -- an awesome case that fits the bill perfectly. Well designed, well thought out, well played!
...professional looking to boot. Plus, you can find it well under MSRP through Amazon's sellers.

I'm rarely impressed with phone cases but this one was a great find for me.

I just installed this on my Droid Charge and was all-around impressed. The screen protector fits perfectly, and it appears that it is held in place by static cling which came in handy after having to move it slightly. The silicon case fits perfectly around and over everything, and the hard shell case does too. My biggest fear when buying this was if the screen would look and function differently, and I am happy to say it does not. For under $17 plus shipping, you can't go wrong.

Poaching is one of the healthiest ways to eat eggs, so I taught myself how to poach in a saucepan. I became OK at poaching, but it took a lot of effort and was a bit messy.

This egg poacher is much easier. 3 to 4 minutes and they're done, healthy eggs with no effort at all. The non-stick surfaces for the eggs needs a bit of help, a dab of olive oil does the trick, but when I forget the eggs are tough to get out, usually needing a fork which leaves little egg bits all over the cooking cup.

The egg-holder is nice, provided you have a flat surface to put it on after cooking. It's designed to let you remove the eggs quickly and easily.

Great little 4 egg poacher. Bye bye to the days of having to make poached eggs in a ladle or by dropping an egg into boiling water to have it disintegrate. This is a well built, compact poacher. The poach cups are Teflon coated, but I recommend using a non-stick spray such as Pam on the cups before using them to avoid a messy cleanup and to facilitate popping the eggs out after cooking - even with the Teflon, the eggs will stick a little otherwise. This makes perfectly poached eggs that are neat and orderly without any waste. I bought one for my Mother as well and she loves it.
