I bought this splatter screen because when I fried with my large cast iron skillet my other splatter screen just wouldn't cover the entire pan. This does that job well. The only concern i have is at the point where the handle meets the screen doesn't seem strong enough to hold it's weight and I am afraid that at some point it will snap off. It hasn't happened yet but it is a concern

I too own a 15" Lodge frying pan and really needed a splatter screen for it. This is worth the money and does a great job. Highly recommended.

Nice screen overall, this seems to be well built but time will be the real test. Nice metal handle which feels well balanced to rest of the screen. The metal ring around the outside of the screen seems substantial enough to support some years of use. The trouble spot may end up being the brazed junction where the handle attaches, hopefully it holds. The screen is large enough for my biggest fry pan and it balances well on top of the pan without falling and shifting.
