Aside from it being very cheap looking, it is effective in keeping all of my knives in one place. Not a super nice case, but it does the job. The brass handle mounts appear corroded, imitation leather case, plastic handle.

I have to admit that I wasn't expecting this case to be of very good quality. After all, the Case brand sells for about 10x the price. Then again, the Case brand is leather while this is vinyl. The Case brand is made in the U.S.A. and I'm assuming that this one was made in China.
Perhaps my expections were just too low, but this case is a very good value. The materials and finishing are just fine and I see no reason why it will not last for years.
I'm all for buying "Made in the U.S.A.", but sometimes you really have to weigh the cost of an item against its real value. This is hardly the place to discuss international finance/politics but, if the Case brand sold for even 3x as much as this one, I probably would have bought it. There is just no way for me to to justify spending 10x the price.
