even though I read the reviews it's a little bigger than I thought it would be. I have used coarser drives for some time. The speed of retrieving data and saving data is excellent. I would highly recommend this product.SEE BELOW NOT RECOMMENDED:

Follow up 10/07/2010 ALL CONS NEGATIVE - Took this on a recent trip. When arrived found that it was recognized by my laptop but no data was available. I lost a lot of data. This was the first corsair that has failed. Both the top and the usb connector were loose. A would stick to the shorter and more solid corsair drives.
Another reason is that my bag was examined after going trhough exray related to the physical size of the drive. I would stick to the shorter corsair drives which havew lasted for years for me.
Have not contacted corsair or my computer tech for refund and recovery of data respectively. Peter
