I dont like the hardware finish, i expected it a little more rugged. The lack of proper win 7 64bit support was a issue, but solved it using the XP Mode virtual Machine.
The Flashing of the vehicle takes about 20 minutes from backing up the stock configuration to the "safe disconect" message. After that Im very happy with the results, the ETC does not feel sticky anymore now its more responsive and the power curves adjustment for 87 octane gas works great for hilly roads.
Tire and gear adjustments are very valuable for gaining back power and correct speed reading. Fuel savings still to be measured with more tanks

hello
i want to start out by saying that i have multiple engine mods cold air intake, TB spacer, upgraded ignition coil, wires, and plugs, also have headers, and cat back exhaust. but just like every jeep enthusiast you want more power and torque!!!
so i bought this superchip and was totally sceptical about it even after i read hundreds of reviews, but sometimes you just have to see for yourself! obviously i did, and after reading the destructions, "sarcasim" i put a quick tune of 91 performance into my 07 jeep jk rubicon bc i was eager to get out there and test it. it was real quick and easy to do! there are also advanced settings, but if you for the most part have a stock jeep then you dont need to go into the advanced setup.
when complete i took it out for 20 mile town/highway spin to let the ecm pick up on the change, and then started getn after it. "usually you need to disconnect the negative terminal to reset the ecm after any engine mod, i did a later that nite when i was bout to go to bed and call it a nite."
i noticed a lil more power and torque with the flashpaq on top of all the other mods. i would have to say after all the mods, "including SC flashpaq" i think i have gained around 20 hp and 30lb of torque! . . i was hoping for more but im happy with it b/c i can feel more power on long uphill climbs, when im out in the mud getn a lil dirty, and it does give the jeep a much better sound...
i would buy it again knowing what i know now, you have it for life and it has multiple performance settings. "oh yea also tried the mileage setting and didnt really see any increase, about .4-.6mpg more, but i could see 1 mpg max increase with good driving habits."

--"if you want to put a bigger throttle body on your jk this flashpaq is prolly not your best bet. i wanted to put a 74mm viper TB on mine but i hear with both it will cause the engine to run to lean and could cause some damage. im a big reader and i have seen that on multiple sites, most of the time from first hand users.

Does what it's advertised to do for my 2009 Jeep Wrangler. It has 5 programs including 4-low, towing & three for performance. I choose the middle 91 octane program (87, 91, & 93) which stated an increase of 15 horsepower & 24 ft/lbs of torque. The difference was like night & day. I should say that here in Colorado we have 85, 87 & 91 octane fuels & I've been using 87 instead of 91 & it's worked great with no engine knocking or pinging. I initially bought the Hypertech E-Con product but found it to have less options & less performance. The main issue with any programmer is that if your vehicle is still under warranty, you must return it to the factory program before taking it to the dealer for service. This only takes 10-15 minutes. I've seen people write that the dealer can detect what you're doing, but I've had my Jeep at the dealer three times in the last month, changing the program each time, and nothing has been said. But they also said nothing about my turbo exhaust (+12 hp) or the K&N Performance Air Intake System (+8 hp) I installed. Also, the Superchips product has other options, like calibrating the speedometer for other tire sizes.
